In a forest clearing, a camera mounted on a motorized turntable records one fluid 360 degree rotation over the course of a year in weekly segments of 27 minutes, 14 seconds and 13 frames. The completed 24 hour loop reveals a slow evolution in real time over four seasons, beginning and ending on the Winter Solstice. The camera, rotating at the same speed as the earth, records three cycles: a rotation of the planet, a 360 degree panorama, and one revolution around the sun.
